A Friendship Indeed

by Jason   Oct 20, 2005

For the longest times we've been friends,
You've seen me the way no one else ever could.
Yet we have hid our feelings because of fear of loss of friendship.
We grew together always,
We knew each other evermore,
We were like brother and sister until that fatal day when, Unexpectedly, somebody bends and causes a reaction....a change.
A simple kiss on the lips acting as a catalyst for our juvenile passion,
And at the same time a ticking time bomb for the destruction of our friendship.
The earth shifted, our friendship changed.
If we couldn't be together, we could be nothing at all.
Risking everything, we took a leap of faith.
Unfortunately, it seemed as if we risked too much.
A life long friendship lost, pain and sadness gained.
I believe it was faith....do you?
Or, is there something else that could ruin something so true, so everlasting.
