My Whole Life Pt 1

by Jason   Oct 20, 2005

My whole life, I have lived on dreams dreamed from a consciousness so pure and so innocent that it can be nothing but good.
I have traveled this long, unfair, winding road called life to try to find its meaning.
A journey so long and so tedious that time is of no relevance.
The streets seem crowded yet they are deserted,
Like long, listless eyes staring back at you.
But do you dare travel that road, a road destined to bring nothing but agony and strife.
A road that starts somewhere but ends nowhere or does it start nowhere and end somewhere?
A never ending black oblivion, line with memories of old and new, of good and bad.
The few that take this journey return tattered and torn, return a challenged group of bumbling, babbling idiots.
-Why?- because they fail to see the true meaning which i yet to be revealed, that which cannot be deciphered.
It just stares at you like that one last piece needed to complete the puzzle, that one last unknown needed to solve the equation.
