I am the ghost in the machine,
The spirit that haunts your dream,
I am the shadow of the light,
The face inside you tried to hide,
I am what you fear the most,
The fleeting doubt in of your mind,
I am the night and pure darkness,
The evil in the sinner’s eye,
I am what you want, what you need,
I am the truth of lies,
I am the force beyond understanding,
The unbearable urge
That you know too well

    I love poetry with the "I am" format, gives it a twist, also can make rhyming more difficult. You pulled this off well, I am really loving your work, and your style.
