Unloved And Unnoticed

by Broken Tears   Oct 26, 2004

She is unloved and unnoticed
And for 15 years it remained that way
Until she decided to change it all
On her self-inflicted death day
She figured either no one would notice
And no one would care
Or somewhere, someone
Had to realize she wasn't there
So she tried cutting and slicing
On a cold, lonely night
Surely some one would care
Some one had to notice. Right?
She did it for months
Thinking it had to kill her eventually
And it did kill her
But no one noticed you see
So all that pain
And all that sorrow
Still didn't get her attention
No one noticed she didn't live to see
tomorrow
So she still remained
Unloved and unnoticed
She'll always and forever
Only feel this

Well, certainly not the typical poem, because it didnt have a happy ending..
But I think more stories and such should end this way, sadly its more realistic sometimes

This poem is about a girl who felt that no one noticed her and no one loved her (hince the name Unloved and Unnoticed) so she decided to try and commit suicide. She thought that maybe then someone would pay attention to her, but after she was gone, still no one noticed she wasn't there.
