I Can Take

by Nobrainy_duh   Oct 26, 2004

You hear me beckon,
As I cry out your name,
You're filled with humiliation,
Because of all your shame.

I beg you to use me,
I will right all the wrongs,
That have been caused to you today,
By the unforgiving throngs.

I'll make you feel better,
I'll help you heal inside,
I'll make the blood flow again,
But the cut you'll have to hide.

I can take away your pain,
I can take away your strife,
I can take away your hurt,
But I can also take your life.

Now it's too late for you to realize,
That I'm not the answer at all,
I'm the knife that does nothing,
Except speed up your fall.
