Soldier Angel

You fought with all you had
Day and Night
Even when you felt bad

You missed your wife and your son
Oneday all this fighting will be done

You said if you didn't make it home
To always remember the last thing
You said on the phone" I love you hunny and I love you son I won't Give up now I am not about to run"

You fought all day long
You became very strong
For now this was the place where You belong

Your dad died then your mother
Your sister then your brother
but you stood strong in a land that Wasn't your own
In a place many think you don't Belong

The day you died it was all over The news
This time it wasn't an accident or a Kid being abused
Your son and your wife now forever Alone
Keep thinking it wasn't true and that one day You would be home

But now you're way up high
Getting your wings and learning How to fly

You served your country well
You helped so that oneday soon We will ring the victory bell
