Forgotten

by Amber D.   Oct 29, 2004

The girl was forgotten
In her very own home
One day she did it all
Just to be alone

She took the scissors
From her mothers room
And slit her wrists
Which led to her doom

Her mom came home
And found her lying on the floor
In her own pool of blood
Thats when the tears began to pour

She called the police
Too come and help her
They told her it was too late
Suicide has no cure

Now she sits at her funeral
She shouldve been there
How she longs for another day
To play mommy and do her hair

It might have made a difference
She was always gone
She never payed attention
And now shes all alone
