I Will Never Forget

I wrote this poem when my fiancee passed away in July 2004. He left behind me and my 4 month old daughter, plus another son. He died as the result of drunk driving.

I will never forget the love that we shared
I can still feel your hand through my hair
I will never forget the sound of your voice
And the way that i felt, we never got a choice
I will never forget the way my heart broke
I will never forget, i thought it a joke!
I will never forget putting you in the ground
I will never forget, you'll always be around
I will never forget your eyes so blue
They live through our daughter: to her, from you
I will never forget, we will never be apart
I will never forget, you'll live on in my heart
