My Secret

You hurt me in every way you can
Beating me without mercy or even a care
Breaking me down till my knees are weak and I cannot stand
And you wonder why I give you a cold hearted stare
I wont give you the satisfaction of seeing me broken
I still choke on my tears and think that I want to die
But I wont break down even with all the hateful things spoken
All the times I said I loved you and that you were my dad was just a lie
You are a cold hearted demon searching to destroy me
But you can't hurt me I wont let you
No matter how hard I tried to show you my pain you didn't see
You hurt me even more and this pain inside me grew
You take your anger out on me and deny it
You still wonder why I cut my wrists
We tried to love you but you fought it
All the things I wanna do are hidden behind my clenched fists

* Everything in this poem is true. Yes my dad beats me and I tried to love him but I couldn't so I lost myself in creating more pain physically which hurt the ones I cared about. Hope that answered some questions. Any comments would be most appreciated
