I Think Of You

I sit here by myself
Alone, and oh so cold
Feelings of isolation
Like door, been slammed in my face
But it is okay
I do not want to be with them
I do not belong
I want to be with you
I sit, still, thinking of only you
The only thing that gets me through
I can hear my heart beating
Loudly
Echos in the silence
And I think to myself
How long can I last without you by my side
