The wings of a bird
A tear of my soul
A once filled life
With a broken hole

The heart of an angel
A line down my wrist
Of one longing memory
Of when we first kissed

The web of a butterfly
A shadow of my pain
As I cry out to you
With nothing to gain

The love of my life
A stream of my blood
I give it away
Over the one I loved
