Another Story

by Ally   Nov 9, 2004

This is another story,
About a girl who wanted to die.
No one would have ever suspected this,
But all she did was hide and cry.
Her depression built up,
For days and days.
She hid in a corner at night,
Until she ended up crazed.
There is part of the story that wasn't told for a while,
She had been raped,
By her loving boyfriend,
On her very first date.
She hid this day and night,
And never told anyone.
She was afraid she'd be in trouble,
Because it was her mom's best friend's son.
One month later,
She started showing.
After a month and a half,
Everyone could tell she was growing.
As each day passed,
The little boy grew.
Her parents became mad,
And wanted to sue.
They took him to court and claimed,
"He took our poor daughter's life.
He did it with force,
And he did it with spite."
The court thing drove her mad,
She stayed in the back and waited.
They asked her question after question,
The courts and that guy she hated.
Finally after the last day,
The court battle was done.
He was locked up,
And they had won.
She went home that day,
And locked herself in her room.
She sat there with no emotion,
Like this was her doom.
She stayed there,
Day and night.
Curled into a ball,
She remained out of sight.
One day, in the dead of night,
She snuck out.
She wasn't coming back,
Without a doubt.
She walked out to the main road,
Dressed completely in black.
She crossed the dark road,
Then headed for the railroad tracks.
She stood in the middle,
And waited for the train.
No one knew what she was doing,
Or if she was sane.
The train came along,
It didn't see her in time.
There was a loud noise,
Now nothing was fine.
The train halted suddenly,
She was thrown off away.
It had hit her hard,
She survived, but in pain.
The conductor called the hospital,
"Please send someone out,
She was hit by the train,
While she was out and about."
The ambulance got there quickly,
But she was already gone.
They called to tell her parents,
Who arrived before long.
News crews arrived,
To cover the story.
But all they could say,
Was that it was gory.
The police questioned her parents,
"What had gone wrong?
She would have never done anything like this,
And what about her career and that beautiful song?"
The case was looked into,
Before long it was solved.
It was all over the news,
Then everything had evolved.
Her funeral was on Sunday,
The viewing on Saturday.
It was all over the news,
That the whole town came both days.
The burial was on Monday,
It ended up horrible.
The casket became open,
And some people thought she looked adorable.
People went crazy,
Over that statement.
Those people were looked down upon,
And threatening letters were sent.
The chaos soon settled,
All thoughts over here were put behind.
People soon forgot her,
As she was put out of mind.
Her spirit now rests,
After she was lowered into the ground.
Now no one speaks a word,
Not even a sound.
She is now up in heaven,
Her spirit flew away.
Until her story is yet again discovered,
That is where she will remain.
