I've got nothing else

Turn out the lights
Pray to god one last time

Make sure you hide under the covers
For the weak are so easy to find

Its ok that your scared
But darkness is your friend

Don't sit and cry in the corner
Your broken heart he will mend

They say he lurks around the weak
Whispering, taunting your dreams

But whats to dislike about him
He's caring, or so it seems

Never will he judge you
Or laugh at your fears

I thought he was bad news
Until one day he wiped away my tears

He doesn't want to hurt you
He only wants to help out

Take a weapon of your choice
Death is something you shouldn't doubt

Don't think you can escape
All thats wrong in your life

Its just a waste of time
Keep swiping with that knife

For years i tryed to break free
Not let them get me down

I just can't carry on anymore
My face wears a constant frown

Until darkness came along
I had absolutely no one

Every body had left
I thought life was done

But he picked me up
And told me not to cry

"Its okay" he said
"Eventually we all die"

So now he holds my life
All to his greedy self

I never expected he'd help me
He's all i have, I've got nothing else.
