What's wrong with my Faith?

How can you grasp what you cannot see?
How do you continue to always believe?
You can't comprehend what your mind can't perceive,
Yet you pray everyday so passionately,

It continues to bother and subconciously,
Eats away my soul and discomforts me,
I don't understand how you stand so strong,
When He never talks, or helps you along,

I wish He would show, and let us all know,
That He's up there, and knows where to go,
Unfortuneately, that's not the case,
And now you can see, the doubt on my face,

Once upon a time, mine was a face,
That wanted to finish, to finish the race,
But now it has changed to something less brave,
It's not alike, it's not the same,

Where is this seeing, powerful God,
That created the sea, earth, and sky?
The one that saves you when you die,
The one that calms you when you cry,

I've wondered of that all of my life,
I've pondered of that and longed for the sight,
Of a God that's there, who repairs and who cares,
But the darkness engulfs him and he isn't there,

Why does He not let me see,
What to say and how to speak,
Why does He not reveal to me,
Who I am and am supposed to be?

I pass by a few nights and lay sleeplessly,
Because of these thoughts they are haunting me,
What's wrong with my faith, why can't I just,
Be like everyone and sightlessly trust,

I think this is because,
I've been hurt way too much,
I decided to cease all the fuss,
And take the religious bus,

Out of my faith,
And down underground,
Untill maybe one day,
It will be found,

Then I will take,
It out out of the ground,
And open it up,
So my soul can be found,

Then maybe that day,
I will be glad,
That my soul I did save,
And my soul I now have.
