My Hurts

by Ð맆îñ¥   Nov 12, 2004

Don’t leave me again,
I can’t take it.
The dark will settle in,
The light will disappear
From my life.

Last time you left
You left me bereft.
No doubt for somebody else.
You can’t hurt me like that again.

You know that I know you never loved me.
I ain’t stupid, I can see
That what you are doing will happen again.
You’re hurting me. Help me.

I’ve seen you together.
It causes me pain.
You don’t give a damn.
You’ll leave me again.

Many will tell me
Its time to move on,
Take some time out, be free.
Sail over the water, I can be the swan.
I’m no ugly duckling. My time will come.
I’ll wade in the shallows and swim in the deep.
My everlasting sorrow but I no longer weep.
