Love is a Challenge

I never wanted anything to do
With any boy that I happened to come across
Because they always seemed to break my heart
And the closer they were, the worse it got.

But then Billy came along
When I'd just about given up
I suddenly loved him
And guarding my heart just wasn't enough.

I love him so much
That I don't care
If he breaks my heart
Because love is a challenge and I took the dare.
