Life Goes on *Repost*

All my thoughts are twisted
My feelings are mixed inside
Nothing seems to make sense anymore
Neither my life nor pride.

Thoughts of today are tangled
Hidden behind a smile
Will things really be ok
Or am I in denile?

My life is somewhat incomplete
When he's not around
I loved how when he was near
I was lifted from the ground.

Now all that remains
Are memories of yesterday
Everything I felt inside
All the things I didn't say.

I wipe away the tears
That often seem to fall
Waiting by the phone
Wishing he would call.

As I sit and wait for you
My heart remains strong
But until that day comes
Life still goes on.
