Angel

This is a poem my friend wrote when she lost her Aunt. She would really appreciate your comments.

You'll never know the pain i feel
The hurt that is oh so true
The tears i shed will softly seal
The part of me thats you.

Maybe one day the sun will shine
Just like your smiling face
Why did you have to leave me here
In this sad and lonely place.

Each step i take is painful
I see no guiding light
My world that was once so colourful
Is now in black and white.

You never know how much you need and love someone
Until one day it hits you hard
The fact they are gone.

You always were an angel
And in our thoughts as we cry
We think of your eternal life
Because angels never die.
