Satiation

by FTS Miles   Nov 18, 2004

Do you yet feel me when I call
with that endless self that
has unioned so often with you before?

I acknowledge your touch in
the shadows of the night,
but with exception of the
chance mourning I scry
(like dim whispers of gloom
and unfulfillment
from somewhere afar)
I have not received your
yearnéd essence in my guesting
hall of soul for far too long.

Do you remember me?
Have you mistaken another for me?

Does not the difference in his touch,
the knowledge of your heart’s
but recent glassy essence
not make you question,
not make you desire
the insight of the once-had more?

Do you know him by his eyes?
Do you walk beside him,
or simply support him?

Can he touch your Mind
upon the gossamer wings of
ancient soulbond, conjuring
memories of you from
ageless days recanted,
making the union shared
greater than simply love...
but making Us twin,
making Us eternal....

Have you forgotten Us?
Or are you truly satiated?
