Racism

I wrote this poem for a project in History. It's about Aboriginal Peoples and what the government did to them. Hope you like it.

There is so much hate in this world.
Not enough room for people like me.
Taking our children and hypnotizing them.
Telling them their white so they cannot see.
The government is based,
On only what they are.
They take our children away,
Oh so very far.
They sit there and yell at us,
Saying that were scum.
After that I start feeling exceedingly numb.
We have no money,
No jobs at all.
Why won't anyone answer,
To our crying call?
We cannot dance nor sing.
We have no rights at all.
They will only stop fighting,
When we give in and fall.
