Universal Mystery

by Ashamed   Nov 23, 2004

It’s big, very big, and may even have no end
But we sit here alone, wondering when
Or if we encounter another form of being
Someone we can learn off, that could even be green

With more stars up there, then sand down here
Who can help but wonder and who can help but fear
At what else is up and looking down on earth
And thinking to themselves let’s stick on our turf

But what if they came just to say hi
And quickly turned around forgetting to say bye
What on earth would that change, and who would know
If they were to come back again, or if they would grow

Would religion change and our beliefs too?
Would we start been more open and not have a clue
As to what is up there and how many can appear,
These mysterious beings could create so much fear.
