Writer's Block

I'm sitting here, trying to write,
But I can't think, just this one night.
My words are jumbled, my head is numb.
I didn't think, that this would come.
Writer's Block, is what they say,
And it's driving my nuts! It's in my way!
Trying to overcome, and trying to get through,
It just seems so hopeless, there's nothing I can do!
Normally, words, just come so easily,
But tonight, my mind is attacked repetedly.
Maybe the over dosage of Dr Peeper,
Has something to do, with this writing barrier.
Maybe my mind, is wanting a rest,
But the caffeine overload exudes this pest.
Or maybe it's just not my day today,
So I should stop, and put my pen away.

    Yeah, yeah... I know I put Dr Peeper... it's supposed to be that way... inside joke involving Daniel, Steph, Ryan, and I think Katey was there!
