When you were growing,
inside of me,
I felt so happy,
I felt so free.

You were my light,
of hope in the dark,
a gift I would carry,
with a very proud mark.

Your daddy didn't want you,
not even from the start,
I'm very sorry my darling,
for the pain it caused your heart.

One day he couldn't take it,
and he gave me a choice,
it was either you or him he said,
and waited for my voice.

When I didn't answer,
he looked deep into my eyes,
I didn't expect him to do what he did,
until I head his cries.

He grabbed my shoulder roughly,
and started to pull my hair,
meanwhile pushing me backwards,
until I hit a chair.

I tripped and fell over,
right onto my side,
I no longer felt you,
and knew that you had died.

My eyes filled with tears,
that fell just like rain,
I though of what happened,
how I would never be the same.

So I'm writing to you,
to show you that I care,
I love you my angel,
and please wait right there.

I will be with you soon,
together in the sky,
never will we part,
and never will you cry.

There we will stay,
until the end of time,
just me and you,
