You said we were friends forever,
Until the sun never sets,
But I guess forever has ended
And the sun may just forget.

With all the countless memories
And the innumerable inside jokes,
I would have never guessed,
But this “best friend” thing is just a hoax.

What happened to what we had?
Did it all go down the drain?
With a snap of my fingers,
Can it no longer be obtained?

Don’t you remember when we were eight
And our clothes didn’t match at all?
That’s when we had no worries whatsoever,
