Too deep in the woods I have run away
For anyone to ever find me
It was like my feet could not stop running
Carrying me faster and faster
Further and further
Until I was just a blur of motion
Speeding by
I just see the outlines of the trees
Smears of browns and greens
The heat of the dirt
Beneath my feet
I can’t slow down
I just keep on running away
From my fears
From my thoughts
That are taking over me
Making me this blurred image
That no one, not even myself
Knows who it is
