God's Tears

by ¤©h€€®ƒüll¥♥©¥ñ!c@l¤   Nov 28, 2004

Rain is God's way of crying
For all the pain life has put me through,
For all of my family's greif
And for all of the obstacles I've subdued.

His tears are a way of telling me
That all my worries are washing away,
And my life is getting better, because
After the rain is a rainbow and the sun's rays.

He's crying for the innocent
Killed most every day
For the war, or the death penalty they
Went through for a crime they didn't pay.

He's crying for abortion of a future life,
Why did that mother have to kill?
He's crying for the teenagers in cars,
killed with dreams they had yet to fufill.

He's joyfully crying for many things too,
For the lifes that could be saved.
He's crying for the birth of a new life,
Where new paths could be paved.

Joyous tears are also for
The thanks given everyday
By the wealthy, and the sick
That are thankful to live another day.

So next time you feel down in the dumps,
And its a crummy day outside,
Smile and remember,
God is crying at your side...
