The Red Dress

by Jacki   Dec 1, 2004

She was beautiful, and seductive.
Her hair straight and chocolate brown, eyes that made
A man quiver just gazing inside of them.
She wore a red dress hugged every inch of her curves.
Her legs were long, lean and tantalizing.
A gust of wind picked up, as her legs
Stretched from the car.
She stood up and straightened her dress; walked
Into the entrances showing no ID.
Over to the bar she walked with a smile
The men turning their heads to stare.
She sat down properly upon the stool gave
The bartender a wink and he were right there.
“Martini, please” and so she had ordered all night.
Never picking up the tab, never paying a cent.
A man walks over charming and pleasant to the eyes.
Requested he buy her one last drink.
She hesitated at first, but she gave in finally.
They started laughing and loosing up after an hour or so.
Finally she looked down at her watch and said
I really must go.
He begged her to stay, or least give him her number.
She just said “NO.”
She got back into her car and sped down the street.
Pulled into her driveway and ran up to the house.
Unlocked the doors shaking intensely.
Finally the door opened and she ran upstairs.
Undressing every second she ran.
She wiped off her make up and through on her nightgown.
Slipped into bed and tried to pretend she was sleeping.
10 Minutes went by and her husband got home.
Walked up stairs and said “I know where you were, no need
To pretend you are sleeping!
I’ve been watching you darling, a private investagor.
I know about your men, I know about your cheating.”
She sat up in bed and said if you cared for me then
I wouldn’t be all over town like I am.
As he walked closer she had saw knife reflecting in the mirror.
Too little to late for it had plummeted inside her.
He fell to his knees, what had he just done?

I don't like to speak about my problems usually. This women was just over the top and I couldn't sit back and read this without making my voice heard. I never met to tell anybody really. It just came out in a pit of anger.

But yes I've trusted very few men. But thats a problem i'm dealing with myself. Thank you for your comments. And thank you for standing up against that horrible women.
