It's up to Him

~ I know this isn't the best poem, but after you read it please rate or comment! Thanx! ~

I must say goodbye and let go,
Even though I want to stay.
This is not up to me,
he is the one who feels this way.

What did I do wrong,
and why is he leaving me alone?
Can't he see what he is doing,
My heart is not a stone.

This pain is so overwhelming,
It's eating me up inside.
I want to yell and scream.
Please, I can't always hide.

Can't he see how much it hurts?
He is killing my soul.
What happened to our love,
and when my heart was whole?

Why is he doing this,
and why is it to me?
I can't believe I thought he cared,
Love is blind, so now I see.

He will never know what he has done,
and how much I cared for him.
I loved him more than anything,
but this is a battle I cannot win.

I must say goodbye and let go,
Even though I'd LOVE to stay.
But this is not up to me,
he is the one who feels this way.
