How can I be right for you?
What is it I have to do?

It’s like the more I try,
The harder it is for me to get by,
The more I apologize,
The more of me I must disguise,
Do I have to be fake?
So I can seem real,
Do I have to break?
Just so I can feel,
It’s as though,
You already know,
And you’ve already decided,
I’ll never be, one of the crowd,

    I think you said just enough... enough to guide the reader while conjuring their own similar feelings memories experiences. Great poem.
