Confusion Hurts

My heart beats slowly, it hurts deep inside
I can’t feel happy, I really have tried.
She’s all over my mind, not turning around
Her voice in my head, its such a nice sound.

I hate her though, she’s ruined my head
I love her so much, I still feel her in my bed.
She cheated on me, and lied and deceived
She kissed me gently, and smiled and received.

My mind goes crazy, my heart still bleeds
I can’t let go, but she can’t see my needs
Her face is a nightmare, but also a dream
But I need to move on, I just can’t it would seem.

What to do is a mystery I just can’t resolve
And love is my misery, no more a goal
If nothing existed, I would no longer feel
The hurt that’s inside me, that’s way too real.
