I’m tired of the same cries
“Oh I want to die”
“Oh please God help me”
“I just want to die”

How many times will you scar yourself?
How many times will you cry for yourself?
When will you realize that nothing gets better with the knife?
When will you realize that the slits aren’t helping?

I’m tired of preaching the same cries
“Self harm gives no pride”
“Self harm is just a way to die”
“Self harm is why I nearly died”

No! I’m not all jokes and good words
I have a past that leads to the underworld
But you never asked me who I was
You just took everything I gave

I’m not a Saint or an Angel
I wasn’t sent above to give you answers
All I am is human learning how to deal
I wish you would listen to me when I say I was once you

I cried at night wishing to God to stop my heart
I cried when everything went right and still prayed that I want die
One day I decide not take more than I needed
I didn’t wake up but a weak later

Do I seem so funny now?
When I woke up I realized
“Why?”
“I’m not going to let people F* ** up my one chance to live”

Here I am now.
With a past less pleasing to hear
But with a mind finally set for myself
I throw away all my quick reliefs

Now I wish you can realize what I have
That no matter all the shit people put you through
There is not anything they can do to truly help you
The only person that CAN help you….. is yourself

“I can only show you the door
But you are the one that has to walk through it”
