Afraid

by Your eyeliner is laughable   Dec 15, 2004

Afraid,
The darkness closes in,
I don't even struggle,
I know I can't win,
This is my punishment,
For my sin.

I lie here,
asleep in bed,
As evil things cluster,
In groups round my head,
I don't want to live,
But don't want to be dead.

The blackness now fills me,
To the depths of my soul,
I'll never change,
I'll never grow old,
I know I'm still walking,
But my body is cold.
