Darkness Inside

by John123   Dec 16, 2004

I close my eyes to see
and wait patiently
while my history;
my tragedy
unfolds before me
what had to be
the solemn key
was she
yet it was an unanswered plea
so I will set me free
and die quietly

the image is burning into your brain
driving you crazy; driving you insane
and you wonder if you will do the same

you see my suicide
and my tears cried
now all dried
though you've tried
even with eyes wide
in your mind I reside
I am but a guide
I'm not to be denied
and I will never subside
because you cannot hide
from me; your darkness inside
