I Miss It

I miss the way we used to be friends
I think we were good together
The way you could make me happy
I really miss it

I miss your hugs
So warm and loving
I miss them, they made me feel safe
You made me feel safe

I miss the way you smile
The way you could always make me laugh
Talkin' to you on the telephone
I miss havin' you around
I miss being your friend

I really miss how it used to be
When we were happy, just you and me
But now its gone
We are nothing more, nothing less
Than spiteful enemies,
Or pure strangers

If I could go back and change it
Change the way things turned out
I would
I swear to god I would
But I can't
So I apologise to myself, and to you

I miss it
I miss our friendship
I miss the way it used to be
But most of all
I miss you

    Amazing poem, I'm sorry you lost a good friend, I can relate to this a lot, the way you have expressed your feelings in this poem, makes me think I wrote it, cause it's exactley how I feel...Excellent work..Thanks for sharing, I really liked this..Two thumbs up and keep on writting!:o)
