Another Christmas

Another Christmas without you,
It won’t be the same.
Our lives are still changed,
To this very day.

Without you being there,
It’s hard to go on.
But the memory of you,
Will forever live on.

I hope you can hear us,
And know we think about you.
And I hope you know,
We really miss you.

Your death was so sudden,
It came without warning.
We couldn’t prepare
And we’re still in mourning.

It’s hard to go through
Each passing day.
Knowing we’ll never be able
To see your smiling face.

I know it isn’t what you wanted,
But nothing will be the same.
3 years later it’s still hard
To get up and face each day.
