Cutters pride

by Caroline Golden   Dec 20, 2004

A shine of Silver
A splash of red
My pounding heart inside my head
Im going over last minute decisions
Made up my mind
Flesh meets blade
Too late now, the past is behind
My crimson regret is starting to flood,
I look down at my wrists-
Dried up blood
Not too much time left now
My breath is leaving me
As i think back on the guilty hours,
The pain is numbing
My eyes are closing
My breath is departing
As i take one last glimpse at the World i am escaping.
There i lay, my soul rising
I have become heavenly
Still tired and weary
As I watch down at my discovered Body as they try to uncover
My unwitnessed suicide.
