Looking beyond the obvious

by Caroline Golden   Dec 20, 2004

People can't seem to see
The beauty which lies in me
When they look, all they see is the Pain and frustration
That I have taken out upon myself
But if they seek deeper
They could find who I really am
my scars symbol my weakness...
For i truly am helpless.
Just another soul among them
They are deceived into thinking I'm fine.
But underneath I am breaking,
Being torn apart- rotting away
I need a cure to demolish my eternal sorrow.
They try to give my remedy- drug me up on sanity and happiness
But I still and forever remain
my old and useless self...
I am in dire need of saving.
