The Man In Black

by Seth   Dec 20, 2004

The man in black,
should he take her back,
does he really want her anyway?

Back comes the thoughts,
the ones he lost,
the pain of a lover's past.

In his day,
he had his way,
until she came around.

Then he was a slave,
while she dug a grave,
in the shape of a heart.

But then she got bored,
while his mind soared,
he never saw it coming.

Then one day,
she went away,
and left the man distraught.

Now he wears black,
to hold emotions back,
if only he knew the answer.
