Hidden Grief

by ¤©h€€®ƒüll¥♥©¥ñ!c@l¤   Dec 21, 2004

Have you always wanted to be popular?
You don’t seem the kind,
But I guess in this world anything is possible,
If you don’t ever speak your mind

I pretend I’m not mad
And hide all my tears.
Still I wonder how we drifted apart
With all these friendship-filled years.

You have changed so much
Over a year or two,
I want the old you back,
The one I always knew.

I’ve told you numerous times
To stand up for what you believe
But hey, why would you listen?
When will you become perceived?

You even realize what you’re doing to me
And ask if you are mad
Are you blind? Dumb?
A horrible friend I may add!

sorry, it kinda sucks, thanks if you read it tho =]

Hehe, I like this, it's very strong, very forthright. I loved the ending you gave it, gives the character -or you if it's a personal piece- an air of independancy.
Is this true? Friends like that are horrible, I know, but keep your head up!
Thanks so sooo much for your comment on my poem, it made me smile, I appretiate it very much. Much gratitude to you.
