I Once Met A Guy

by Pinto Bean Power   Dec 21, 2004

*Dedicated To My Ex *

I once met a guy.
He was funny, nice.
My how time can fly.
Now, I think twice...

About what happened.
Man, what a prick.
I shall start from the beginning
Take my risk.

He said all the right things,
But he was always sad.
He almost convinced me to give up
Everything I had.

We dated for 2 months,
Then I discovered the truth.
About everything he did,
And how I had proof.

I will start with Stacy.
A freshman at my school.
When I think about what he did to her,
I feel like a fool.

He cheated on me.
I really did not care.
One thing was for sure,
It all went down hill from there.

Later on, I found out he tried to have sex with her.
She was 13.
He even told the poor girl,
He would take care of everything between.

Lucky for Stacy,
Her brother walked in.
Jon suddenly learned
What real hate was just then.

He chased Shane down the street
With a metal base ball bat.
Shane was mad at this defeat.
And decided to cry to me: the door mat...

He told me that Jon was a drug addict.
That Jon beat and raped Stacy.
Sorry to tell him,
That did not faze me.

When Shane arrived home
Late that night,
His mother was worried
So they got into a fight.

Shane threatened his mom.
Told her he would come back when-ever he wanted.
Afraid of what Shane would do,
I knew the poor woman felt haunted.

Shane met my friend Jason at the mall.
Told Jason to give him money.
Jason and his band members did not like this at all.
And told Shane stop trying to be cunning.

Shane yelled and ranted.
Told Jason he could beat him.
Jason laughed it off,
Until Shane told him I was at his whim.

The band members Zach and Mike,
Looked down at their friend.
Jason let out a growl like that of his bike,
And Shane laughed again.

He bragged on getting me drunk,
And leading to rape.
Jason stood up with spunk,
Making people gape

In awe at the show before them.
Shane had pushed too far.
Everyone there knew.
And now, Shane was trapped in this jar.

Shane shoved Jason,
What a bad thing to do!
Jason punched Shane.
My, how he flew!

Of course, I was told something different.
I was told Shane kicked his butt.
That Shane had never lost a fight.
That was when my conscience screamed WHAT?!

After it ended, things got interesting.
I found out that Shane was stalking my friends.
He wanted my number,
I could feel my anger bend.

He is mad he cannot find me.
He wants me back.
All I can say,
Is that he is on crack.

I will never run back too him.
Now he is asking my friends out.
Other little freshmen too.
They do not know the truth.
They say they know him... that I doubt.

He pulled me in because I felt sorry for him.
He kept wanting too kill himself.
I figured that out... it was a scheme.
But I worry for others before myself.

I found soon enough that it was all a lie,
Melinda told me most of this.
I guess it's easier for herself to pass time by,
To blame others for what she started.
