Shattered angels wings

Flying across the midnight sky,
i have just said my goodbye.
I'm gliding alongside the stars,
and i look down to where you are.
your not crying at all for me,
i look through the window but you cannot see.
your playing with your dear sweet son,
have you even noticed my life is done?
i look at my wings, tattered and torn,
Ive been dead for a day but they still seem worn.
I'm sorry i had to go like this,
but it seems that your life is now bliss.
a tear rolls down my transparent cheek,
what will happen after a week?
will you even want to say your goodbyes,
as i hover and away i fly?
