Forever

When i looked into your eyes,
all i see is hurt and anger;
i don’t know what happened,
but all i can say is that you are not mine anymore.

i knew I have done something wrong,
but i just couldn’t get the picture;
sorry if I have hurt you,
but there's no reason to be mad.

i hope i can see through you,
to see what the anger is about;
but to be honest with you,
i'm not a psychic.

i know what you are going to say,
but i can't bear to get the words out of my mouth;
i felt a sharp pang in heart, as you said the words,
i blinked back tears because i didn’t want to make a fool of my self in front you.

why are you doing this to me?
tell me why or take me back,
are you just blind not to see the hurt in my eyes?
cause you are playing it cool, like it never happened.

even though i’m not sure of my feelings,
i’m sure of one thing that I don’t want to think about;
you have been with me forever,
that it hurts to think my future without you.

the only thing I know now is that,
“I have lost you forever”;
don’t get me wrong, but this is how it is in my mind,
“I haven’t lost you, you are still mine”.

forever is one word you told me not to use,
but in this case, that’s what it looks like;
even tough you are taking it cool,
i know you will always love me because that’s the truth.

when we met again,
you told me you still and will always love me, just not in that kind of way;
i can sense honesty in your words,
so I guess I was right after all.
