why does this still hurt so bad, i still feel like I'm alone,
we're supposed to be together yet i feel like i don't have anyone.

i can never spend time with you, you never even call,
i don't understand the way you work even after all this time.

it's Friday night and all my girls are out with their boyfriends,
but not me I'm sitting at home wondering where mine is.

i miss the sweet little things you would say and i miss you holding me,
i miss our old relationship and the way things used to be.

I'd give anything in this world just to lay cuddled up with you,
with you running your fingers through my hair the way you used to do.

I'm not asking for all your time just a little every now and then,
just a kiss or a phone call or a simple I LOVE YOU just to let me know you're there.

i don't want you to drop what you're doing or go out of your way,
those three little words coming from you are enough to make my day.

so the next time you have a spare moment drop by or give me a call,
let me know that you do still are and you're there for me after all.
