Paranoid Life

by blackheartinlove   Dec 31, 2004

They were the ones you counted on to always love you,
No matter how stupid you look,
The ones that were your shoulder to cry on,
They were your world.

You should have saw it coming,
No one can resist a little back talk,
Why are they all so angry,
Why do they insist on hurting me?

Do they not understand who they are?
Do they not understand there importance?
Do they not realize they are everything to me?
And that without them I can't survive?

They are but my best friends,
Or so I thought,
Wishing they'd just love me back,
And we'd all live a happy life.

Being away from them makes me sad,
My paranoia leads me to believe they don't want me,
My facts confirm that assumption.

They will stop someday,
I think quietly to myself,
They will understand what they mean to me,
I think again.

I am wrong,
They will never know,
They will continue to hurt me,
But I still will try to believe otherwise.

No more crying,
No more hurting,
No more sadness,
If you just believe.
