Remember...

by brin macnamara   Jan 1, 2005

Memories loiter akin to abandoned railway tracks,
going nowhere, two tone, rust and moss.
Stare hard and long enough recollection can be seen trundling by.
Remember when?...
Recall what we felt?...
Remember,
Remember...

A directionless wind blows cruelly on the broken hearted
Swaying and whistling through dwarfed wild flowers struggling to grow on the ill nourished sod.
Relationships lie crushed and bruised by wheels of deceit, lies and incompatibility.
Each rail holding its tail, its burden
Solitary, running on a fuel of pain crying out silently to deaf ears....
Remember?
