Dreams Verses Reality

by ♥-Sharon Ardern-♥   Jan 1, 2005

Sometimes it’s hard
To distinguish reality
From the dream state we create
To escape the misery

And we wonder
What is actually real
Finding we were wrong for so long
All is gone, except the hell we feel

And where do we go
Who will except us now
The outcasts of our land, they don’t understand
We forgot our plan, we don’t know how

Agony is all we have
It comes kind of bitter sweet
For a short time, dreams are fine
But in my mind, I am forced to retreat

And now I stand
Borderline on insanity
Dreams disappeared, just as I feared
The fog hasn’t cleared, and I crave an end to me

Reaching out
But falling so far behind
Biting the hand that feeds as my pain bleeds
Punished for my bad deeds, I am to lose my mind

All I can do now
Is stand and watch it all go
Forever the forgotten, my past so rotten
This is rock bottom, that I do know.
