Nobody Told Me

Nobody told me,
Life was going to be like this,
That it was going to be so hard,
With so many children left unfed,
And starved,
So many homeless,
With no where to go,
So many divorces,
Kids split between them,
So many people,
Who barely get by,
All money is spent,
Just to survive,
So many kids abandon or abused,
Fights with their parents,
Of left all scared up,
So many women,
That gets smacked up,
So many raped,
So many hurt,
So many people that die in battle,
Brought down by gun,
With so many dieing all around,
So many people,
We love and hold,
That dies too young,
Before they should go,
So many things,
Of death and depression,
So why didn’t anyone tell me,
Life was so dark and rough this way?
