Emotions locked deep within
Looking for a release
I need out, so i grab my pen
And hopes this pain does cease
I write all my feelings down
I write them for myself
I don't care if I'm world renown
I write them and put them on my shelf
I write to make myself feel better
Each stroke of the pen, more emotions lifted
I feel better with each written letter
From my shoulders to the paper they have been shifted
I feel really blessed
I have a chance
To get it all off my chest
When I make my pen dance
With each stroke of my pen
I get more out of my head
I get more out from within
And down on paper instead
Its so much better to let the words flow
I'm happy i can turn to my notebook
Other people have no place to go
I have a place no one will look
