Your Choices

by rachel   Jan 2, 2005

I’m in control now; you’re under my thumb
Don’t try to get away; I’m really not that dumb
I’ll give you three choices to help fix what you’ve done
You won’t get your way because I hold the loaded gun
So get yourself together, you might need to take a seat
When I tell these three choices, you’ll wished we did'nt meet

Number one of your fates, is to be in your child’s life
Don’t try to reconcile this by asking me to be your wife
I won’t forgive you for what you’ve done to me
if your choice is in our child’s life, I’d be willing to let you be
If you decide not to be a man to take care of your caused
There’s two more choices, now your life it can't be paused

The second choice is to help me with the bills
I’ll get a check every month; I’ll be there with the drills
But if you choose this, I won’t let you see your child
For you chose this life where you continue to be wild
You’re just like your own dad, Ty
You might choose to never even try
But hold onto your seat, there’s one more to choose
2 out of 3, the third’s got to be where you’ll lose

If you choose neither one of those, this is your fate
For your actions you’ll go to jail not a moment too late
Remember how old I am and what years you do hold
I’m underage and the consequences you’ve been told
I’m sure you’ll make friends with the f---- in this new place
Everyone there, I’m sure they’ll like your pretty face

These are your choices and I’m not backing out
Don’t try to persuade me, I'll do this without one doubt
You have all the scenarios, the best to you I’m not sure
My decisions on this, you’ll never be able to deter
Make up your mind you don’t have too much choice
Listen to my words and this demanding voice
