In Dreams

In dreams no reality can chase
And no darkness consumes me so I can not see
I wash away the tears upon my forgotten face
I wipe off the pain that covers me

But when I awaken I become a wilted flower
and hurt crashes upon me like a rough tide
I am as a lost soul in hell with no will nor power
and as I cling to life he's no longer by my side

So I find where no reality can haunt me
Is in my dreams where darkness will let me be
